visible: Cold Method

well, i did it.

i just ordered my first line ever on my own, and it was from the fall '09-'10 Cold Method collection, which hails from amsterdam. the mantra of the brand is simple: make men discreetly well dressed, for a good price. it's clean but intricate, and a hell of a good price. most of it is made in turkey. seeing as anything made outside of china/india is pretty much a selling feature nowadays... bonus.

the boss gave me full authority to purchase for next fall, and 93 pieces later we had a colour story, packages and some pretty decent european clothing hitting the shelves of blazerformen come fall thanks to yours truly. i think it will take some clever marketing/genius merchandising to pull off this line in the store as it is now, but i have faith. and i have a good friend that will help me get the word out. right mrbk? right?

a/v rating: finally a line that fits me at bfm

  1. You got a really good strategy there. My philosophy is always start off discreet and the buyers will remember you for the great classics they have in their wardrobe. However, my little comment is you really missed on the denim photo on the CM website, which I think might inspire the feel you want to sell along with the brand. Because "Don't miss the point with pants, your daily necessity! The rest of your efforts will have been waisted if your pants don't complete your look."
