audible: Röyksopp's new album!

More info on the much anticipated follow up to arguably one of the best albums in the history of electronic music according to every single personality in my head, The Understanding CD: Röksopp's new album Junior will be out on March 23rd, and features many-a-cameo appearances by star female vocalists from around the big fat world (Robyn, Lykke Li, Karin Dreieireereiijer, Annelli Drecker) and, wow. Oh, and yay. I almost forgot, and friggin' sweet.

Here is a musical triplet, designed to inspire the mind and revile the kind of blind signs that seduce our times:

Röyksopp - Miss It So Much (Feat. Lykke Li)

Röyksopp - Tricky Tricky (Feat. Karin Dreijer)

Röyksopp - Forever

There's a certain epicness/perfection/seamlessness Röyksopp never seems to stray from. Despite it's clean and precise intervals of blips and beats, there's still an organic feel to it. You know, the feeling you get when you are surrounded by rolling green grass knolls while sitting under an oasis oak tree. Natural. Fresh. Röyksopp. See how well that name flows? I told you.

a/v rating: it's like the moment you walk out of the dentist's office because you know it is the longest possible time before you must return
factoid: 'Röyksopp' is a stylized version of the Norwegian word for the puffball mushroom, or literally, "smoke mushroom".
